“Monique” Angela Hicks is an actress and comedian, born in Baltimore, Maryland. The youngest of four children, she attended Morgan State University and studied broadcasting. Afterwards, Monique worked as a customer service representative until her brother dared her to perform at an open mic.
That is how she got her start in entertainment. Monique starred in the UPN series, The Parkers, from 1999-2004, and was featured on many comedy stand-up shows.
