Scottie Pippen is a retired American basketball player who is best known for playing for the Chicago Bulls during their huge success in the 1990’s. His current net worth is estimated at $50 million. He is still considered to be one of the best small forwards the NBA has ever seen.
Scottie Pippen was born in September, 1965 in Hamburg, Arkansas. He was the youngest of 12 children with hardworking parents who could only afford to send one child to college. Scottie was chosen because he had shown the most promise as a successful basketball player. He attended college at University of Central Arkansas in Conway where he played well but struggled with recognition because the school was so small in comparison to others.
Pippen has been married twice. The first was to Karen McCollum from 1988 to 1990. They have one son Antron. He was married a second time to Larsa Younan in 1997. The two are still married and have four children together. He has two other children with former girlfriends. Pippen has recently been having some financial difficulties and was forced to sell his home in Florida. He also lost a significant amount of money due to some poor investment decisions.
Pippen is best known for playing for the Chicago Bulls in the 1990’s where they won 6 NBA titles. He was also a pivotal part of the Bulls’ record season in 1995-1996 where they won 72 games.
